Differences

  1. APA has a cover page, MLA does not
  2. APA pages are titled, MLA pages aren’t
  3. APA only has page numbers at top of page, MLA has name and number
  4. APA cites the author, page, and publication date, MLA cites just the authors name
  5. APA has headings to section the essay, while MLA  does not
